Debby Sue Moore (“Moore”) is currently an Escrow Officer licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. She has been in the title insurance industry for over 26 years and has extensive experience and knowledge with regard to title insurance rules, rate and procedures.
Moore started her title insurance career in April of 1991, working as a receptionist for Settle & Pou, an American Title Company “fee attorney” office located in the Uptown area of Dallas, Texas. That office mainly focused on investor residential properties and residential refinance transactions. In 1995 Moore took an Escrow Officer position with the title agency of Westar Title Company, located in far North Dallas, Texas. That office closed mainly local commercial transactions with some residential transactions. Moore’s responsibilities included closing all residential transactions, while assisting and closing a portion of the commercial transactions as well. During Moore’s years with Westar Title Company she expanded her knowledge of, and experience in, closing commercial transactions and continued to refine her residential closing skills. In October of 1998 Moore took an Escrow Officer position with William M. Woodall, PC, at the time, a fee attorney office of American Title Company and LandAmerica American Title Company. Beginning 2008, the office became affiliated with Chicago Title Insurance Company. Moore closes commercial transactions for properties located locally in the DFW metroplex, statewide and nationally.
