Deborah Shera began her career as a legal assistant to a family law firm in 1983 before obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree in 1991 from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Upon graduation, Deborah practiced privately with her primary concentration in family, real estate, and corporate law.

Entering the title insurance industry in 1999 as a partner and primary escrow officer for a fee attorney office, she has also served as vice president and manager for a title company owned by Community Credit Union. In her previous positions as an officer for Chicago Title, she was involved in nearly every facet of Texas and national title insurance services for both commercial and residential transactions. This includes multi-family, TIC’s, hospitality, shopping centers, 1031 Exchanges, defeasance, and construction transactions. Deborah specializes in the preparation of legal documents, closing documents, contract review and assisting clients with title curative matters. With her deep understanding in both commercial and residential title insurance and her extensive technical expertise in law, Deborah provides each of her clients with superior customer service.
