Kate Schlinke serves as a Commercial Escrow Assistant and licensed Attorney on Debby Moore’s commercial team.

Kate received her J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in 2018, where she continued to work full-time in the title industry as a paralegal while attending the law school’s evening part-time program.  She also served as a Case Note and Comment Editor for the International Law Review Association. 

Kate’s career in real estate law and the title industry began shortly after receiving her B.A. in psychology. Upon graduating, Kate worked as a paralegal with a Dallas-based law firm where she learned the legal complexities of commercial real estate transactions. While in law school, she worked for various title companies assisting with commercial and residential real estate transactions, as well as solving escrow issues, handling claims, and co-writing continuing legal education papers.

She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November 2018 and is a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Dallas Bar Association’s Real Estate, Probate and Trust Section.
